Telephone Test Set - SBI-145

The SBI-145 works on DMS-10® and DMS-100® Central Offices (MDC) as well as on all DTMF (Touch Tone) and Dial Pulse Lines. Provision is made for originating call on all lines associated with all addresses on MCD lines.

A talk / monitor switch is provided with a high impedance in the monitor mode (100 KΩ at 1kHz). A mute switch for noisy environments is provided. This switch disables the microphone and increases the receiver volume slightly. Two light emitting diodes (LEDs) provide monitoring of circuit polarity. An audible POTS ringer is included. An LED flashes for MCD ringing. The SBI-145 works in parallel with an off-hook 500 set on long loops.

Nine telephone numbers with up to 18 digits each can be stored for memory dialing. Last number redial is provided for Pots lines. A lithium 12 AA cell ensures long term memory storage.

The SBI-145 is constructed of high impact ABS plastic and will withstand a 30 ft. drop test. Coated PCB, water tight keypad and wiping switches make it water resistant.

The SBI-145 is equipped with a five foot cord with a variety of termination options.

Descriptions

List 3 Plug Cord: This cord is fitted with a type 346A female plug and is approx. 1ft. long. The plug allows the use of a variety of different test cords equipped with the matching type 471-A male connector.

List 6 Angled Bed of Nails Cord: The angled bed of nails cord is similar to the standard bed of nails with the exception that the clips are offset 20°. This is our standard cord.

List 11: Consists of a List 6 cord (as described above) and a RJ-11.
